Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
