"That's a little unusual but then, I enjoy sprinting and just move forward - I'm not defending that much," he said.

"I warn my defender 'I'm not staying' and that I'm just going to keep attacking.

"The running is what I'm looking for. It's enjoyable."

In addition to the forward's six scores on his first game, Stephen Ireland has netted eight in three appearances for the side, while George Boyd scored 5 on his debut appearance and Joleon Lescott, a defender by trade, scored a triple in one game up front.
